Continuing Education
and Community Development
Dean's Message
Thanks to your support, the Pitt Community College Division of Continuing Education and Community Development is the fastest growing Continuing Education Division in the state of North Carolina.
The programs we offer in our division are designed to deliver the “three E’s,” Education, Empowerment, and Enrichment. Whether you are looking for a new career, polishing up an old one, or searching for a new hobby, we have something to offer. This Fall we are offering training in healthcare, construction trades, real estate, insurance, bio-technology, and many other rapidly growing industries. Our SmallBusinessCenter is available to assist you in starting or growing a business. Through classes offered in our division you can learn a new language, learn to paint, join a community chorus, or participate in the Pitt Community College Symphony Orchestra.
We continue to strive to be the premiere, comprehensive, training service provider for Pitt County Residents. We welcome your suggestions on new programs that you would like to see offered at your community college. If you have any comments or suggestions, feel free to contact me at 493-7388.
