2013 Division Orientation
Attend ALL DAY divisional orientation to find out more about your major, the division, faculty, registration, and student services. Orientation will be held in the Goess Building, with break-out sessions in your academic division for advising and registration. If you are unsure of where to go, there will be Orientation Assistants assigned to your academic division to answer questions.

Why Should I Attend Orientation?
- We will help you understand your placement test results and what courses you can take in English and Mathematics.
- We will show you how to use the College Catalog and learn how to manage your course schedule every semester.
- We will help you choose and register for your first semester courses at PCC.
- We will show you how to access your financial aid status and discuss tuition payment deadlines.
- We will direct you to important resources on the campus for college success.
How Do I Prepare For Orientation?
- Complete the Placement Test and have scores on file if taken at a location other than PCC.
- New students must have placement test scores on file to register for classes.
- Call (252) 493-7561 or (252) 493-7562 for more information.
- Copy of SAT or ACT Scores and AP Scores, if available.
- Click HERE to utilize the College Board website for additional score reports.
- All High School and other College Transcripts on file in the PCC Registrar’s Office.
- Complete the FAFSA.
- Click HERE to be redirected to the FAFSA website.
- Log in to myPittCC and create your student account.
- Click HERE for log-in instructions.
