Business Administration Mission Statement
The desire of this department is to promote and enhance the economic development of the community; to provide for lifelong learning and academic excellence through course content, application, and technology; to serve diverse populations with a sense of worth and dignity; to establish work ethics relative to a positive work environment; to meet workforce needs in the workplace through skills development, training, and personal growth; to be quality driven; and to communicate a sense of vision and renewal through a creative utilization of productive and innovative resources.
Associate in Applied Science Degrees
Associate in Applied Science (AAS) programs are designed to provide entry-level employment training in technical areas. AAS programs range from 64 to 76 semester credit hours. A full-time student can typically complete one of these programs in two years.

Certificates
Certificate programs are designed to provide short-term focused entry-level employment training. Certificate programs range from 12 to 18 semester credit hours and can usually be completed within one semester by a full-time student. Associate degree level courses within a certificate program may also be applied toward a diploma or AAS degree program.
