Student Success Center
The Arts & Sciences Division is home to the Student Success Center (SSC), which is located in the Reddrick Building Room 228. The Success Center is open year-round and is designed to focus on new students in the Associate in General Education (AGE) Pre-Health Science and University Transfer (UT) programs.
Walk-in assistance is available and students do not need an appointment to visit the Center, although we encourage students to make an appointment. To schedule an appointment to meet with an advisor in the SSC, simply visit the Center during operating hours or contact the Center via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you contact us to schedule an appointment, please include the following information:
- Your Student Identification Number
- Your Major
- The Reason for your Visit
- At least two Different Options for Appointment Times (Must be during our Operating Hours)
Appointments are not accepted during any registration period. We will assist students during registration periods on a first come, first serve basis.
Operating Hours for Summer 2014:
Mondays: 9 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.
Tuesdays - Thursdays: 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: The SSC will close at 12 p.m. due to New Student Orientation on the following dates: June 23rd - June 26th and July 7th - July 10th. The SSC will be closed the entire day on July 23rd for New Student Orientation.
The SSC will also be closed for all PCC observed holidays and faculty/student breaks.
Summer 2014 Academic Calendar
New students in University Transfer and AGE Pre-Health Science are assigned to the SSC for advising. Continuing students should contact their individual advisor for an advising appointment (see advising list below). If an individual advisor is in class or unavailable, continuing students are welcome to visit the SSC on a walk-in basis.
Please bring your PCC student identification number when visiting the SSC.
