Foreign Language Testing
Pitt Community College uses Webcape software to offer students with a level of proficiency in Spanish or French an opportunity to place into a higher level of foreign language class based on their test performance. The Foreign Language Placement Test is available for current PCC students as well as prospective students. When is Foreign Language Testing Available?
All foreign language testing is done strictly on a walk-in basis on Fridays from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (the last test must begin no later than 1:00 PM).
Note: students do not need to make an appointment to take a foreign language exam.
What do I need bring on the day of testing?
- All students are required to show a photo ID in order to test - No Exceptions
- Students taking a credit by exam or challenge exam must bring their testing permit obtained from the PCC Foreign Language Department.
Where is Testing located?
The Placement Testing Office located on the main PCC campus in the Warren Building, room 2402 (2nd floor).
